Off the beaten track
This picture shows probably the most remote place in Czech Republic accessible to public. It is called Lusen valley and it is located only 2 kilometers from border with Germany. Thanks to its location, it is one of the best places for stargazing in Czechia because it is far away from artificial light sources. On the other hand the light pollution from far cities in Germany is still visible on the horizon. The red and green Airglow was strong that night due to stormy weather. Also Jupiter can be seen on the left.
Picture is merged from 2 photo (each stacked for noise reduction and enhance details) Everything was captured in night with correct position of the stars to the landscape.
